On July 23, 2026, Mr. Wang Qingjie, President of the Stainless Steel Branch of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), led a delegation to Zhaotai Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. for an in-depth visit focused on the transformation and upgrading of the Zhoucun stainless steel industrial cluster and the development of the “Two Bases" initiative.
Accompanied by Mr. Huang Shoutao, Chairman of Zhaotai, the delegation visited Zhaotai’s production facilities and reviewed the operation of its high-power laser cutting systems, large-format CNC bending equipment, and multiple welding production lines. The delegation also gained insights into Zhaotai’s capabilities in stainless steel profile deep processing, customized structural components, and integrated one-stop supply services.
During the discussion, President Wang emphasized that Zhoucun has strong foundations in stainless steel commerce and manufacturing. He encouraged local enterprises to seize opportunities brought by new industrialization, move beyond traditional plate and profile trading, and accelerate the development of deep processing, high-end structural fabrication, intelligent manufacturing, and other value-added applications.
He also highlighted four key priorities: accelerating intelligent equipment upgrades, strengthening industrial-chain collaboration, developing regional brands and production standards, and leveraging industry platforms to expand domestic and international markets.
Mr. Huang Shoutao expressed his appreciation for the guidance, noting that the visit provided valuable direction for Zhaotai’s future development. Zhaotai will continue to pursue precision manufacturing and technological innovation, actively participate in the transformation of the Zhoucun stainless steel cluster, and support the development of the “Two Bases" initiative.
Looking ahead, Zhaotai will work alongside industry partners to advance the regional stainless steel sector toward higher value-added manufacturing, intelligent production, and stronger global competitiveness, contributing to the sustainable development of China’s stainless steel industry.
